Dear All, Just a warning to anyone else out there who might be an old time Mac fan and is still functioning quite happiliy in OS10.4.11 as I am with an iMac G5 and a Powerbook G4... the iPad I ordered for my mum for her birthday (which didn't get here in time) just arrived on Friday - of course we've decided to keep it. To my horror (not having read the small print) I found I couldn't set it up on either of my Macs. Irony of ironies - only the duff old PC computer that work had chucked out could help because it has XP!! Now the iPad's up and running .... but having just shelled out for it I'm not in the mood to upgrade to a new laptop or Mac - so will carry on relying on the 8 year old PC!!
