been going round in circles for too long today on the web looking for a
good FW disk to replace the stupid (fairly new) portable disk but it's
very confusing...Lacie's name is now mud, but most of the others are USB
only; Western Digital does a dizzying array of My Book disks, some of
which have FW, some not...
<silent scream>. Has anyone bought a FW disk (may as well be a
terabyte!) with external power, 3.5" disk, in recent months? (especially
on a reputable recommendation)? could you let me know which model and
where, and I'll just order it;-)
I went to the Apple store at one point but their prices are insane,
about 30% more expensive than anyone else.
