Hi

from a police point of view if you were to try to dupe the scammer and your account was hacked, pay pal would in all probability suspend your account and launch an investigation. They may well say that you helped the scammer obtain access to pay pals systems(just a thought) so beware you could get caught up in a lot of mess. My advice for what its worth leave it alone and the old adage 'if it seems to good to be true it usually is'

hiya

anyone any good in dealing with the usual scams?

cant work tthis one out for sure yet, i think ....

advertised my 3G iPhone on gumtree

mr X so called business man in Finland wants to buy it for his daughter but could i post it for an extra 60 quid to..guess! ;) >>>> Nigeria of course ! ;[]

he is offering to pay with paypal so i said gowon then ;) but smarty pants got back to me saying he wants a money request to him via my paypal...

now is this so he can say he never received it if i would be so stupid to even post it there in the first place so he can claim his money back via paypal insurance, which i expect it to be the case

or would this scamming silly bugger actually get further and into my paypal account ?

if no one can tell me the plot behind this im quiet happy to try it out and obviously not send him the phone or do it in such a way he has to sign for it on reception altho that wont yet exist there in Nigeria scam capitol of the world ? aint checked with post office yet and then indeed just paypal return his money and play silly games with him because then i can go to paypal to report it and that account gets closed and he looses out on his 400? quid for a month he could make some money of the interest if he would even have that kind of money!?

whats the coup with this one?

OK maybe bit off topic mac thing but surely appreciated to see what to watch out for online? If not my apologise !

hang on to keep youz happy...

Q: How many MAC owners does it take to change a light bulb?

.......

A: Only one, but he'd have to go out and buy the light bulb adaptor card first, which cost extra.
