This is on the 5770 and 5870 cards.

I used to run a 5 monitor set up for editing with scopes and preview
screens. I now use 2 x 27" displays and a Standard LCD TV via a BlackMagic
Intensity card for previews.

MacPro's are very nice machines and will see you sorted for a good few years
I think. My other desktop is a dual screen, G5 from 2004 which is still
going strong 6 years later. I added an extra hard drive to the second slot
and upgraded the DVD burner a while back.

Remember to buy your memory from somewhere like www.crucial.com/uk rather
than direct for Apple, there some significant savings to be had - pays for
the extra graphics card!
