Hi, I am hoping to buy an iPad in the near future and it would be helpful to know if it displays Powerpoint slides (from .ppt files) without any additional applications. Can anyone help please?
What I am doing is saving .ppt files in a Dropbox folder on my Mac when they are emailed to me by conference presenters then I would like to use the iPad Dropbox app. to access them and leave my laptop at home. The above works just fine on my iPhone - I am viewing files that are without fancy transitions (it would seem) - so I am double checking for the iPad just to be on the safe side. What would be the advantage of getting any app(s) to help view .ppt files, any one recommend anything specifically?
