plus the factor of many 1-star reviews. THat's 140 quid to get all three working, and possibly also a DVI to VGA adaptor (if we take the apple support page literally).

I haven't managed to find any other monitors that actually have mini displayport anywhere -- there are some displayport, but not the mini ones.

The assumption is always that we should have one or two big monitors; I prefer smaller ones (three 17" monitors, all portrait, is perfect fro me. Once you start using monitors portrait, you realise the only reason to have them landscape is for video andpossibly picture editing. Everything else is best portrait...) somehow having a big monitor doesn't feel the same even if you can put two documents side by side.

i'll try messing about with the vibook options but I really don't want to spend any more...even on adaptors!
