Hi,
I've just acquired a 20" LG monitor to sit alongside my 20" iMac. The 'optimal'
resolution of the LG is supposed to be 1680 x 1050 which would match the iMac.
However when I go to 'displays' in 'system preferences' the menu of resolution
options for the second display is not only different from that for the iMac but
does not include 1680 x 1050. When I select various options in order to find
the
best of the resolutions offered the LG says 'for optimal resolution change to
1680 x 1050' but I can't choose this!
Does anyone know how I can get the second display to match the first? (I'm
still
using OS X 10.4.11)
