this is an obsession of the tech media, but they already multitask
moderately. Android machines that allow it more controllably also end up
needing things to kill the multitasks so its usable. All you really need
on a portable is contact (push/SMS/etc) and music. It's not like a
desktop where you could be encoding video, leaving things half-finished,
programmes co-operating with one another etc.
