Hi Peter Given that none of us on this list are able to "sort out 10.6" and that kicking up a fuss in the Apple Store will get you nothing more than an apology and a blank stare as you walk away, probably your best bet of fixing this issue is to change the way that you organise your emails or revert to using your eMac full time.
