Hi Sam,

I've never had anything to do with Hotmail before today. The bottom line is
that there are thousands and thousands of emails in various folders, which are
vital to the business. My Wife met the owner in London today and they are both
concerned that the present manager will delete the lot. Forwarding the emails
to another account is not an option as that would leave a trail. For a whole
variety of reasons he has to stay in post until after New Year when the police
will arrest him and the owner and the new management team will take over.

I have a Gmail account and so could do as you suggest and configure Gmail to
pick up all the email and contacts. Is that difficult to do? I assume there is
no audit trail to follow.

I can't change the password as that would alert the crook before his arrest.
