Hi, I'm calling on behalf of my mum (again). She has a security problem on her MacBook. Every time she tries to go to a web page (www.ofange.fr for example) she gets another page asking her to log in to another service (Free, another telecoms operator). I suspect it's some kind of phishing set up. It seems to happen whatever site she tries to go to.
I've told her to stop using the Mac for the moment. She doesn't have any anti-virus software. Is there a way of finding out what she's got and how to get rid of it? Also what's the best, preferably free, virus protection software available? Any advice very gratefully received and passed on.
