I confess I struggled a bit to understand. If you're explaining
something this complex, it's always worth making sure you've not assumed
people will follow -- describe the steps. If necessary, post screenshots.
But if I have understood correctly, you're asking too much of it. The
pages are presumably creating a link to an email address but if the
person's machine doesn't know how to handle those, then there is no way
for a website you've created to guess which webmail they are using. The
problem is on their machine (and they must encounter it in other
situations too).
