Well, the "flawed" 10.6 has been trucking along just fine on my 5 year old iMac ... :-)
This reminds me of an entry in one of the first programming books I bought way back in about 1983 which said something along the lines of: "The next release of the IBM mainframe OS will have 1000 bugs in it. How do we know this? Because each previous release has fixed about 1000 bugs in the OS version that it has just replaced!" 10.7 will be flawed too in the same fashion I'm sure, though it looks to have some really interesting and useful things in it. I may get it is as a free upgrade by buying a new iMac around that time ... Stephen On 13 Mar 2011, at 21:30, applemacuser.peter wrote: > Mac OS10.7 is due to be released July/August 2011. Appalling. We'd never do anything like that in the West... -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
