As a result, I'm looking at setting up a plan with HiddenApp -

Has anyone in SMUG used this (or found anything similar)?
In addition, the HiddenApp author suggests 'all Hidden users set up a
Firmware Password to prevent a clean installation of OS X.'. The process
is covered here - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1352. Do any SMUG users
already do this and is it worthwhile?
If nothing else, this posting from me will alert you to the availability
of these things (as it has done for me).
