I have looked at SuperDuper.
I don't reall want to attach another large drive to my iMac (Firewire or other)
nor do I want to go any from Fat32( because alll of the other system I use)
Is there any other method of cloning?
On the PCs' we use acronis for cloning but there does nor seem to be a Mac
version.
Looks as if I will have to wait to see if Lion and Parallels 6 will co exist
(with someother hero taking the strain).
Silly question why cant I disconnect my time machine and if Lion is a pain
can't I clear the iMac,reconnect the time machine and reload??

Parallels works fine under 10.7 GoldMaster - added to that, an update for
Parallels was released last night. I've installed it and Parallels still works
with Lion.

Having said all of that, a full clone before any major installation is an
absolute no-brainer!

Your best bet is to hold fire with the upgrade or make a full clone of your
drive first with SuperDuper so that you can revert if Parallels doesn't work.
