Hi Andrew - I started using RW as a beginnner last year. I went through some steep learning curves, but I feel it has been worth it.
At the beginning I subscribed to http://www.rapidweaverclassroom.com/ It was helpful, and I think they had a special offer at the time, so it wasn't too expensive. However, I probably didn't need to use it, because the RW support sites are really good, as others have said. http://www.realmacsoftware.com/support/ And, whenever I've posted a problem on their discussion site, the RW developers have helped me sort it out.
