Dear All -

I've just spent a long time searching for my user Application Support folder on
my new Lion setup.

Having searched fruitlessly, and thinking I must be going mad. I googled it.

Turns out that Apple have hidden the user Application Support folder by default.

But there is a way round it -

Open the Go menu in Finder and hold down the Option key- there you can access
your ~/Library folder as before.

So, that's my top tip for all SMUGGERs.

I would however like to know -

Why would Apple hide it? What's the point? And is there any way of changing
that default setting?

Best wishes
Catherine
