I have two network drives which I use for different tasks.
The Iomega 1 terabyte I can still acces underLion.
The other dive is an older one and lion will not accept it's
software..Appently Apple is requiring all devices have to support the new
neatalk 2.2 protocol.
The supplier MAXTOR is not going to modify my elderly drive.
I can ping the device and it responds , it also appears in the side bar of
finder but I cannot connect to it. Don't understand.
Seriously thinking of reverting to snow leopard only I not too sure how to
do it.
I still have a thinkpad laptop running xp pro it quite happily see all my
drives

I'm also getting some type of hang, no wheel shown but machine is totally
unresponsive andthe after about 5 minutes it wakes up
