I'm running a recent Mac Pro with SSD start-up and now that I'm on Lion, apps are bouncing again:( Until I upgraded, they rarely got the chance. Is this normal? Also had a couple of kernal panics grrr.

I just had the front USB/FW board AND the logic board (or whatever they call it) replaced after water damage...but they seem to be working ok. Seems unlikely to be related...

maybe it's time for a clean install... or is that as antiquated as rebuilding the desktop nowadays?
