Howdy How do I speed up safari's opening time? It loads pages fine, but bounces for a while to open initially (5.1 on Lion, with new MBPro).
I know the obvious re cache clears, but also heard about favicons etc.... but I can't find them in Lion? There's no Safari folder in Library and actually, my folders seem odd since upgrading. For instance, the Application folder when accessed from the Users>Home folder, is empty? But they're all there in Macintosh HD>Applications, and also when accessed through the sidebar? Similarly my home folder doesn't have a library folder at all, which I thought it did in SL? Have directory structures changed in Lion? Similarly, how do I delete hidden Safari files? I can't see anything in Safari>Package Contents, either!?!?! Please help Smuggers! Oh, and for those who recall this newbie wanting to arrange socials, sorry, been manic since starting the new job!!!
