Good day, I bought WiFi + 3G as I have no mobile phone and wanted internet access when I was out and about for train times, underground status in London, email, restaurant and pub look up and such like. I have Orange pay as you go which costs me on average about £1.80 per month. I always pop my iPad in my backpack so it's invariably with me.
The GPS is very handy because it's just there all the time and with the new UK Maps app I've downloaded I have maps of the entire UK and location tracking to boot. Nice. My thoughts.
