Thanks Chris,

Taking the (very swollen) battery out seems to have sorted it. The trackpad
button has been transformed. The strange thing was it only seemed to happen
when I was using Safari or Chrome.

Looking for a replacement on Ebay, there are some priced €35ish has anyone used
similar ones? I'm not after huge battery life but I do need to be able to go
unplugged for an hour or two occasionally.

regards
Philippe
