I wonder whether any iPhone guru in the group might be able to help. I asked O2
to unlock my iPhone 3G which they happily did for no charge. The email
confirming the unlatching instructed me to place another SIM in the phone and
connect to iTunes. This I did and iTunes informed me the phone was now
unlocked. Great. I replaced the original O2 SIM in the phone and I had to
manually input the O2 settings. So far, so good.

Sending texts, and making and receiving calls, and looking at email, no
problem. But problems arise when I try to use any of the installed apps. They
open momentarily and then close. The only apps that work are the ones that came
with the phone.

Any suggestions as to what might have happened and what needs to be done to
rectify the situation will be gratefully received.
