Yes your NetGear hub will be running on the 192.168.0.0 subnet, whereas the BT HomeHub runs on the 192.168.1.0 subnet, that .1 difference means the NAS box will be on a separate network (although physically connected to the same cables). The easiest way would be to log into your NetGear router, go to LAN IP Setup and set the following details IP Address : 192.168.1.254 Use DHCP Server : ticked Start address : 192.168.1.1 End address : 192.168.1.253
Click Apply, then reboot your Mac and your NAS box, they should hopefully be able to speak again.
