I got an email from Dropbox saying my password had expired after accessing it through an app on the iPad. I thought it was odd so went direct to the site via the Dropbox app menu and seemed to have access. I signed out then went to sign in again (in the browser) and got the expired password message again. Thinking that this must be genuine, I've changed the password via the webform.
However, what's odd is that all my iPad apps (etc) have access (still) with the old password, presumably. And I paused Dropbox sync then restarted it to force a check and it is stuck at 'initialising'. I cannot see a way to change the password on the Mac without unlinking. Last time I did this, it duplicated everything (not keen!) Does this make sense or have I in fact been redirected to a phishing site somehow? How can I change the dropbox password on the machine or does it not work that way? cheers -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
