Thanks to all of you for your reply. I have also bought a new iMac and gone for the Time capsule (please don't tell me thats a bad choice) so I will see how I get on with the apple equipment and report back. It should all be installed within the next two weeks or so. Ray, I am sending your router positive Qi (thats chinese medicine speak for good energy) so no need for the wood.
