having done similar things, I would also suggest very strongly that you 
consider only doing the best/most interesting ones...this stuff takes forever!

Also beware monitors. They show things differently. I honestly think I would do 
a lot of this on an iPad (retina), especially if you have cheaper monitor. Then 
you can use the fairly good stuff in iPhoto there to do a lot of the work, and 
on the go if that's helpful.
