Thanks for your suggestion, Russell.  I am not sure it can be done because 
there is no export facility on the iPad calendar.  But I will have a go ie back 
up to computer when we get back from Christmas holiday.  If I can't do it, a 
trip to Apple shop, as Sam suggests, will be the next thing to do.
