Thanks Guys. My honest thoughts are that it couldn't handle the addition of the USB hub and the two extra HD's and it over heated, it's particularly hot here at the moment too, so I reckon it's either burnt out or will restart when I reboot it later.
I might have a bash at installing another HD. I've found instructions at a very useful site called www.ifixit.com. I have Airport for wifi so no dramas. Thanks for the alternatives too Chris. Thanks again List! Merry Easter :) Michael On 1 Apr 2013, at 04:19, Chris Webb <[email protected]> wrote: > > If it turns out the TC has given up the ghost, there are reviews and > comparisons of RAID based NAS alternatives here starting with Iomega's > Storcentre: > > http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/network-storage/1297336/iomega-storcenter-px2-300d-2tb > > If you do decide to replace the HD in the TC, a hair dryer or heat gun is a > big help in getting the rubber base-plate cover off.
