Hi all,

Strange goings on - can anyone help?

I bought Aperture V1 in a box, V2 in a smaller box and bought and downloaded V3
from the Mac App store shortly after it appeared there for about £50.

Yesterday software update informed me that v3.4.4 of Aperture was available
along with some other bits and bobs and so I updated Aperture along with the
rest.

Today I've gone to use it and it tells me that my Aperture trial has expired
and I need to Quit, enter my serial number or buy a copy from the Mac App
Store!!

I have no serial number as it's from the store and I don't want to buy it again
because until yesterday I owned it anyway.

I did have a trial of Aperture ages back but can't remember which version. It
is not longer on my machine and the Aperture in my Applications folder is 3.4.4
created on the 16th of October 2012.

I noticed that a few days ago Apple removed their trial Aperture software from
their web site which sounds suspiciously connected to me ... (
http://www.macstories.net/news/apple-removes-iwork-aperture-trials-from-its-website/
 )

Any ideas how I can own my copy again (or at least have my licence back!)? I've
not seen anyone else with this problem on the web. If I go to the Mac App store
it says "Install" next to Aperture so perhaps I can just give it another go?

Cheers,

Stephen

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids,we'd
all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to
repetitive electronic music. - Anonymous
