Paul, Your friend's trouble sounds like what I experience when attempting to send an email to a bigpond.au address. Apparently Yahoo accuses bigpond (Australian Telecom) of disseminating spam and has black-listed it, and bigpond accuses Yahoo ...... There is no way I can send an email to a bigpond address.
