I bought the non-WiFi versions without realising they were ethernet only. Doh!

However they do work very well and I have now added the WiFi plug which gives 
us a strong signal where there was none before.

They cost a few quid but I wish I had done this years ago. The odd thing is my 
understanding was that they would not work on separate ring mains but they do 
seem to - unless I really don't understand my slightly dodgy wiring. The 
instructions say something like they need to be under "the same meter", not the 
same circuit breaker.

The last problem is you seem to need Windows to configure the WiFi password so 
I am going to have to fire up my old laptop to see if I can do that.
