Very exciting announcements all round I feel! MBPro and iPad Air look great!

Notice that no more optical drive for MBs! Reminds me when the iMac ditched
the floppy drive. Always ahead of the curve and shaping it thereafter 'eh
Apple!

Quick question before I download Mavericks.... I realise they're pushing
tagging, but could someone do Get Info... on a file for me and kindly
confirm they still have 'Spotlight Comments' as I use that a lot for nearly
every file for easy Alfred searches etc. Would be grateful if any of you
early adopters could kindly confirm please?

Don't want to lose all my vital search strings!

Thanks

AP

p.s. Only wish iLife and iWork were free updates too! Is it a new
precedent? I thought perhaps those suites were only previously not able to
be updated freely when the hardware/OS prevented it?
