Having trained my colleagues to use Dropbox for shared files (usually,
unfortunately, Word files) we now find ourselves saying "I've amended
the file at Dropbox/blah folder/2012 Research Projects/blah/blah and
Assessing in blah/reports/blah/blahsummaryJPD.docx
where blah folder is the shared one. These file paths are getting longer
all the time...!
I'm thinking it must be possible to make this clickable via a URL
scheme...? We are all using Macs on 10.8 or 9. Anyone know if Finder has
this (in the way Mail and many others do)? They are using Outlook but
I'm on Mailmate. I've already written a script to get the path of the
selection so should be easy to add a URL.
