I think I may have become the first person in the world to be annoyed by
being bought an iPad air today...I have an iPad 3 which I'm very fond of
for sentimental reasons but work decided to buy us all an iPad.
I got annoyed (very very slightly!) because what I actualy 'need' for
work is a MB air 11". This is because I get floods of emails that need
answering, filing and so on. I use Emailganizer on the iPad/iPhone which
is great but doesn't have keyboard commands (I'm a serious keyboard
user). I end up on trains with half an hour over and over and would love
to use it for email.
So does anyone know a case that 'turns the iPad into a laptop' for the
purposes of sitting it on my lap on the train (it MUST be at least
full-size keyboard not one that spans the iPad - no good for
touch-typists). But more importantly, has anyone come across an iOS
email app that has highly developed keyboard commands? (delete,
command-R etc)?
(they said laptops are much more expensive but by the time they cranked
it up to 32 gigs and 3G, the difference between that and an education
price entry MBA was not much!)
