Doing some housekeeping and noticed that the option 'Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library'
is checked in Preferences/Advanced. What's the point of this setting? All it means is that I've ended up with multiple copies of the same songs/albums which are taking space. Or is there a purpose that I'm not getting?
