Good evening Smuggers, My main mail account is with gmail using an alias. Whenever I try to send a mail from the Mail app on my iPad I get a message saying the password or username for Gmail is incorrect.
My iPhone has exactly the same set up in settings, using a generic imap account with the alias as the address rather than the 'branded' gmail account. All the settings are exactly the same (I've checked 3 times) and everything works fine. Both devices have iOS 7. It's getting quite frustrating. I've tried using the gmail app but I don't like it and it won't play with my other, non-gmail, accounts. Can anyone recommend either a solution or a decent mail app?
