Is it a NetGear router? You might need to upgrade the firmware on it as they 
quite often had issues with the DHCP server.

Also, if there's a device on your network which is set with a manual IP 
address, that would interfere with the DHCP server giving out that particular 
IP address automatically without knowing it's been set manually on another 
device.
