Same for me too....however tried your new tab trick which brought a tab
called textedit (?) then Force Quit finder, opened it again and deleted
the tab and seems to be working now.
Has new tab always been there? If so then I'm a complete idiot. Never
knew you can drag files from one tab view to the other tab heading!
