Hi All Just a note to say I’ve now fixed the slowness problems with Yosemite Mail, it was an authentication issue where Mail was trying to connect to my server using a variety of different authentication methods where only one was responsive. Switching those authentication methods off on my server has kicked Mail back into lightning speeds.
If you’re having problems with Mail, you could try editing your account settings and untick “detect and maintain account settings” and tick “Allow insecure authentication”, that might help.
