I still haven't sorted my MBA and am now having fun with my Mac Pro
(not).
1. Tried to make a phone call with Facetime yesterday. It went through,
I heard her fine, but she couldn't hear me. The USB headset IS working
(skype test call was fine, system preferences sound panel showed
reaction too). I tested it by ringing my work phone and leaving a
message -- same result (no audio being sent by my Mac Pro.) So it's
something to do with Facetime sending sound... any ideas on this? I'm
not having much luck on speaking to people remotely!
2. The same machine has stopped connecting to iMessage and asks for a
password. I've put it in about ten times and it gives an error. iCloud
is working fine, and (see item 1) Facetime is *sort of* working. I
trashed the plist prefenence and restarted to no avail; also started
from another Yosemite disk and replaced the app -- same result. Where
next to fix this?
