Hi Chris http://www.imore.com/tip-put-iphone-ipad-dfu-mode <http://www.imore.com/tip-put-iphone-ipad-dfu-mode> Put the iPad into DFU mode and connect to a Mac or PC with the USB cable and open iTunes, it should allow you to completely wipe and restore the iPad without the code. On switching the iPad on for the first time it may ask for your AppleID password to activate the device, it’s just an anti-theft measure.
