Looking a litle further, I have found a link for setting up an account
in iCloud
This allows friends to view and download via "Google Drive" on the
iCloud but I have not looked into it any further

download links wanted me to install google drive???
I asked the sender if they could send me a docx version but they seem to have
no more idea than I have - it must be me - life seems to be getting
progressively harder instead of easier! I must have got to that certain age...
