I wasn't quite sure how to title this one: I have an iPhone 4S. If I want to turn it off and keep it turned off, I can't successfully do this AND charge it or have it attached to its external extra-battery case. Is there a way around this?
With my other iPod devices, turning them off whilst power is applied was all that was required. With my iPhone, it seems to switch itself on within what seems like minutes.
