I am trying to scan my grandfathers First World War diaries so that other members of the family can read them. They are written in ink in quite clear handwriting but on some pages the ink is fainter than on others. I am using my MBP and a Canon Pixma MG 3500 scanner/printer. Any tips about how to achieve a clear legible result? Should I alter the resolution or anything else?
