Gosh, sorry Sam, didn't even think of the simplest idea.

Reminds me a family friend who worked in the 80s as a tv engineer. He 
always says that 95% of his home visits for broken tvs, simply required him 
to turn it on at the wall!

Hoping a simple firmware update'll do the trick.
