You should be able to get a replacement sim tray and cable for under a fiver on 
eBay, opening it up is a bit tricky though as it's very easy to break the 
glass. There's are plenty of shops around that do iPad repairs, there's one on 
Baker Street called Complete Fone Solutions who are quite good and not 
expensive.
