In case it may be relevant to those moving to El Capitan. I upgraded my old
iMac (c.2007) to it last week. Everything seemed to go well. Although opening
up was initially slow, turning on has speeded up since. However I have been
having problems with Mail and 1Password and possibly iTunes. The biggest
problem is Mail - and it may be all my own fault - I had become confused about
sign-in names and passwords and asked BT to help me out (which they did) but
now I can't access my email accounts in Mail and I can't seem to change my
password to get out of the cycle of problems.1Password has developed glitches
like not being able to type information into "Secure Notes" (the text box goes
black). iTunes seems to not be able to share a newly imported album with my
iPad.Each of these phenomena may be completely unconnected with El Capitan but,
just in case, I thought I'd report them on this thread.Phil T
