'Made it clear' is a bit strong. I wouldn't expect it to be randomly bricked if
I had had it replaced in Macedonia (see article) n an emergency. I would expect
touchid to stop working.
But mainly a reminder/warning rather than an attempt to debate rights and
wrongs...

Makes sound sense to me if you pause to think about it and I'd certainly not
trust an unknown repairer to touch my iPhone 6S.
