Thanks, Sam. I¹ll give this a go. I see that actually the highest temperature at the time of writing is something called ŒNorthbridge Chip¹ which is currently running at 76C, while the GPU Diode is at 69C and CPU Diode is 57C. Northbridge doesn¹t have its own fan (there are three: ODD, HDD and CPU).
I think perhaps I should also try a gentle hoover along the bottom grilles, which I assume are the air inlets or would that be the wrong thing to do? Many thanks for your time.
